We at ARKTIS design and manufacture high-quality design furniture and implement functional public space solutions together with architects. Arktis was born in the arctic region, in Finland in 2010 by a group of experienced public space furnishing people who decided to join forces to preserve Finnish furniture design and manufacturing expertise.
The arctic nature is our inspiration and home. From the very beginning, the company started designing high-quality furniture. Nature and responsibility in environmental matters guide our design and material choices and production methods. Our collection of wooden furniture is crafted locally here in Finland, and with our trusted partners in Europe. We mainly use birch, oak and ash, which have a sense of personality and are a sustainable and durable choice.
Expertise in material management, structures and joint techniques is required in the design and manufacture of wooden furniture. Competence is reflected in the joints and material strengths of the structures of our products. Every detail is highly thought out and tested.

Solid wood or metal is mainly used as the frame material for Arktis products. Solid wood or laminate is selected on exposed surfaces. The upholstery parts are also designed for long-term use, using strong structures and high-quality fabrics in public spaces. Arktis products are guaranteed for a period of five years.
